I recently spent four nights at the Williamsburg Lodge and found it to be a unique blend of modern comfort with a historic vibe. The location was fantastic for exploring Colonial Williamsburg, making it easy to walk to major attractions. However, my room decor felt a bit modern compared to the hotel's overall ambiance, and I wished there was more counter space in the bathroom. Overall, I appreciated the cleanliness and spaciousness of the rooms.

Rooms
8.0
My room was spacious and very clean, but the decor felt a bit too modern and disconnected from the hotel's historic charm. The bathroom lacked sufficient counter space, which was a bit inconvenient.
Service

The staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay, making the experience enjoyable. They were helpful in facilitating transportation to dining locations, which added a nice touch to my trip.

The hotel's location was perfect for walking to Colonial Williamsburg, which let me easily explore the area without the need for a car. It truly enhanced my visit to this historic site.

I enjoyed the dining options at the hotel, especially the breakfast from the Grab&Go. The food was reasonably priced, and I loved the convenience it offered, although some dishes felt a bit on the expensive side.

The amenities were diverse and appealing, creating a comprehensive experience. I appreciated the clean and well-kept areas, although I did hear some noise from neighbors in adjacent rooms.

6.0/10

I enjoyed my stay at Williamsburg Lodge, especially because of its pet-friendly policy and the helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing experience. However, the noise from housekeeping was quite distracting during the mornings, and some amenities could use improvement. Overall, it was a solid choice for our family trip. 🐾🎉

Rooms

The hotel's location is convenient, making it easy to walk to historic sites in Colonial Williamsburg, and it's right by the shuttle bus stop.

I appreciated the variety offered at breakfast in the main restaurant, with highlights being the made-to-order omelets, though it became repetitive after a few days.

The hotel boasts great amenities, including a spa and outdoor areas. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor patio with firepits during the holidays.

I recently stayed at the Williamsburg Lodge for six nights, and it was a beautiful experience overall! The location is simply unbeatable, right across from Colonial Williamsburg. While my room was spacious, I did find the lack of storage a bit inconvenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made my stay enjoyable.

Rooms
8.0
I stayed in the Tyler Guesthouse, and while the room was large and came with a refrigerator and coffee maker, it could've used more storage options. Despite the room features, it felt like I was living out of my suitcase.
Service
8.0
The service was great! The staff consistently went above and beyond, from the helpful front desk to the attentive restaurant staff. They made my late check-in experience much smoother than expected.
Location
10.0
The hotel’s location is fantastic. It’s just a short walk to the historic area, which made exploring so easy. Being able to park at the hotel and walk to attractions saved me a lot of time.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning, with options like shrimp and grits and fresh omelets. The overall quality was good, but it felt a bit pricey for what I received.
Facilities
8.0
The lodge has diverse amenities including on-site dining and a tennis court at the nearby inn. It made for a comprehensive guest experience, although I wish they had complimentary coffee in the rooms.

I had a lovely stay at the Williamsburg Lodge, which was cozy and conveniently located just a block away from Colonial Williamsburg. The staff, particularly Stuart, were extremely helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist with my daughter's wheelchair. However, I did encounter some issues with noise from adjacent rooms and the older condition of the facilities. Overall, it was a great experience, but there's room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
My room was well-designed with a comfortable king-size bed and a balcony, though it did show signs of age. I could hear noises from the hallway and nearby rooms, which was a bit distracting at night.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, with Stuart helping fix my daughter's wheelchair and also assisting with charging my Tesla. Their friendliness really made a difference during my stay.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, making it easy for me to access Colonial Williamsburg and nearby attractions like Busch Gardens. Everything was within walking distance or a quick drive away.
Dining
8.0
I only had banquet meals, but they were surprisingly good and well-prepared. However, it did seem a bit pricey for what was offered.
Facilities
7.0
While the facilities were nice overall, I noticed some areas could use updates. The gym was decent, but the pool area was a bit cramped. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, but I found it lacking variety.

5.8/10

I loved the location of the Williamsburg Lodge, which made exploring Colonial Williamsburg super easy. However, I was disappointed by the room's condition and the inconsistent service I received during my stay. While the lobby and common areas were charming, my room didn't match the standards I expected given the price. Overall, it's a mixed experience, with the location being the main highlight.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in had very old furniture, chipped paint, and an awkward bathroom design that made moving around difficult. I was expecting something more in line with the lodge's overall elegance but felt let down instead.
Service
6.0
The staff was friendly, but I encountered issues like malfunctioning phones in the room and delayed responses to maintenance problems. It felt like they were stretched thin and not very attentive overall.
Location
8.0
The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the historic area and attractions. I appreciated being so close to everything without having to drive.
Dining
5.0
Dining was a mixed bag; the restaurant ambiance was lovely, but the breakfast buffet had unappealing options like powdered eggs and rotten fruit. I had to order a la carte even though breakfast was included.
Facilities
6.0
The lodge had great amenities, and there was a lovely atmosphere in the lobby. However, maintenance issues, like poor heating and cleanliness in my room, distracted from enjoying these features.
